Privacy policy
How we handle contact details, demo requests and privacy preferences on the Remotezai website.
Who is responsible
ACTIVETECH is the controller of personal data collected on this website to respond to Remotezai contact and demo requests. You can reach us at helpdesk@activetech.pt or at the address at the end of this page.
Information we receive
The form collects your name, work email, company, request type and language. You can also provide a phone number and a message. We record the version of the privacy notice shown and information needed to manage requests and prevent abuse.
Using the website may generate access records, such as an IP address, browser details and access time. Please send only information needed for your request; avoid sensitive data or information about other people.
How we use it
We use the information to understand and answer your request and arrange a demonstration. Where applicable, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; for enquiries made on behalf of a company, it is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Preventing abuse and protecting the website rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. We also comply with applicable legal obligations. Requesting a demo does not subscribe you to promotional messages.
Cookies and preferences
The website remembers choices such as language and privacy preferences to respect your selection. When optional audience measurement is enabled, it is used only after you accept it and on the basis of that consent.
You can refuse or withdraw consent using the cookie preferences control in the footer, where available. Refusing does not prevent contact requests. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
Access and sharing
Your information may be accessed by the team handling your request and service providers supporting the website, form collection and communications, as needed for those tasks. It may also be disclosed to authorities when required by law.
Where processing involves countries outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards required by law must apply, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. You can ask our privacy contact for information about transfers and the applicable safeguards.
How long we keep it
We retain information for as long as needed to handle your request and follow up on the business conversation. We consider whether the request remains active, any resulting relationship and applicable legal periods. Once that purpose ends, information is deleted or anonymised unless retention is needed to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions set by law, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also withdraw consent where that is the basis for processing. Contact helpdesk@activetech.pt; we may need to verify your identity in a way proportionate to the request.
You can complain to Portugal’s Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) or another competent supervisory authority. Contact requests are not used for solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Make a complaint to the CNPDInspection data and updates
This policy covers the website and business enquiries. Inspections on the platform are subject to separate arrangements with the organisation running the session. That organisation must inform participants about the purposes and conditions for collecting images, voice and other information.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in processing or the law. The current version and update date will be available on this page.
